Introducing, Me!

Hi, everyone! My name is Christina Martin and today I’m beginning my journey as a fashion/style blogger. I have been wanting to do this for awhile, but was scared of the time commitment due to my crazy schedule. However, I have finally decided to pull the trigger and chase after my stylish dreams.

I started developing my sense of style my junior year of college and it has evolved ever since. At this point in my life, I feel very confident in my style and I want to share it with others. I believe that finding the right clothes that are made with good quality and a good fit can really improve a person’s confidence. Having confidence can improve a person’s outlook on their day and their whole demeanor, so I want to be a resource to help people find clothes that will make them feel confident. I already do this for my friends, so I’m excited for the opportunity to share with more people.

I want to give you all a little bit of background on myself. I am a very petite woman, I’m only 5’1″, and have a rather small frame, so my whole life I have struggled to find clothing that fits me well. If you find yourself in the 5’4″ and below bucket like me, I hope that my blog can be especially helpful for you because I am aware of the challenges of finding clothing with a good fit when you’re this small. That is why my blog is called Petitely Stylish! I also hope that my blog can still be helpful to those who aren’t petite because I will still be sharing regular-sized clothing, accessories, shoes, beauty, and travel content.

Next, I graduated with my Bachelor (2017) and Masters (2018) degrees from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) and started by first full time corporate business job in Atlanta this past September. My hours at work can vary based on the season, so there are times when I won’t be able to be as active on this blog and Instagram, just a forewarning. Since it is my first year out of school, I am pretty budget conscious when it comes to fashion, so I’m always looking for sales and will try to keep you all updated on those sales.

I also love to travel, and try to travel as much as my budget allows, so stay tuned for fun posts from when I am traveling. I think that traveling is a way to enrich our lives through learning about other people, cultures, and places, so it is something I am very passionate about.

I also love spending time with my family and friends, so you will probably see them featured on the blog at some point, especially my sister, Natalie. She is the queen of sacrificing to get that good angle in an Instagram photo.

I am always looking to improve, so feel free to contact me with any suggestions for content and things you want to see on my blog or Instagram. Thanks for reading and joining me on this adventure!
